Ly carried several books under his arm, while the other had one book open in his free hand. His nose was in the book as she headed towards the library, it was his first day and he had several essays to write. The only thing he hoped was that his sister was having better luck then he was.
As he turned the corner he found the library, heading inside he placed his belongings down on one bench before heading over to one of the shelves, he was after a book for History, the first essay he decided to tackle. However this was his first trip to the Library, he was lucky he found it at all seeing as the castle constantly changed. Now he had to find a book and he was probably in the wrong section.
Looking at the bindings she kept an eye on the names of the books, surely he would find it if he took his time. His index finger trailed along the spines of the books, still nothing. Heading back to the enterance of the library where the reception was, he would have better luck if someone told him where to look. "Excuse me ma'am?" Ly's Australian accent seemed to natually fill the room and that was him trying to be quiet. This earnt him a 'shh' from the librarian however Ly was trying to get her attention. "Ma'am If you could spare one moment?" Again this earnt him another 'shh'. It began to look like his day was no longer lucky

Robyn snickered from where she sat herself working on a Potions essay. She had watched the new guy enter the library. She had to admit she was a tad curious about him, Transfering in his Seventh year. Also in her house. That was enough to cause a spark of curiousity that was never truely satisfied. Trying to be quiet as her brother shot her a look of mutiny as he was completely absorbed in his homework as well. Rolling her eyes at her brother she slapped his shoulder lightly as she stood up. She couldn't help but notice the look her brother was sending her. It was a look of confusion, then understandment, and then curiousity. She knew he would always wonder why she did the things she did. He would just have to learn one day that she was friendly. For he was friendly himself, just not to her extents. So pushing her chair in slightly she looked from the irritated Librarian to the new guy... She believed his name was Lykaios.
"Lykaios? Right?" She whispered to the guy tapping his shoulder to get his attention the moment she reached him. She shot the librarian a grin as she turned to shush her as well. "Do you need any help?" She enunciated 'you', and 'help' to get the librarian to look over once more. Without fail, the Librarian turned to look only to glare at the two.
"I suggest you two be quiet before I kick the two of you out." The Librarian threatened.
With a quick fake appologetic look towards the librarian she tugged on his sleeve. "If you need help, I could probably be of some service." She spoke to him in a whisper once more as she rolled her eyes at the Librarian who thought herself to busy and important to do her actual job.

Lily walked gingerly into the library, for she only came here when she needed something for a class or to work on homework, she never dared to enter this library trying to find something for her amusement. Yet here she was entering the library, with a librarian whom she considered useless, trying to find a book about music composition. She knew it was a long shot, but she was going to try anyways. As she walked passed the librarian she was given a look of reproach, for she normally caused the librarian much grief since she had a habit of talking way too loudly, and have way to much fun in the library, at least for the librarians taste. She just smiled sweetly as she passed, trying to stay on the librarians good side, only to know she there was no hope for her since the librarian hated every student that walked these halls. She could care less though, for what did she care if a useless, cranky librarian hated her? Oh that's right she didn't, and began to laugh in her head at her inner thoughts.
She then began her search for a book about music composition, not even knowing where to begin. Do they even have books like that here at Hogwarts?, she questioned as a look of confusion took over her features. She then just shrugged it off, and began wondering the aisle aimlessly. As she narrowed her eyes trying to read all the titles of the books, she knew this was going to be useless, there was no way she was going to be able to find what she was looking for in this blasted library, and with no help from the librarian, it was pretty much useless for her to be roaming these aisles, but here she was doing just that. She shook her head, scrunching up her face in frustration. She then turned another aisle only to see two of her fellow Gryffindor's standing there. She recognized Robyn, but the boy she didn't know who he was. She then realized it was the transfer students, the seventh year. Too bad she couldn't recall his name for the life of her though, it was something that began with an "L" she was sure of it. She then walked over to them, feeling slightly out of place for she was a few years younger, but she let that feeling pass, and a smile appeared on her face instead, "Hello, is anyone else having issues trying to find a single book?" she whispered, or well tried to whisper.

Alexa walked up and down the moving stairs. She was wandering around not caring where it led her to. If she got lost she could ask the portraits which way to go. She hummed to herself and greeted every ghost and portrait in her path. She carried a small piece of paper in her hand, her wand, and a few books. the paper in her hand was all crumpled. It was a list of places she wished to wander into if she got the chance. Ok so she knew where she was being led to but at first she had no purpose.
She entered the library only to find the libarian screaming at another student who did nothing wrong. The librarian needed to get anger management classes or at least keep her comments to herself. Alexa was usually a very understanding person. But the librarian was one of the only people who got on her nerves. She tried to block the sound of the very much annoyed lady with no luck. She sighed, went over and said "Excuse me but I believe that he asks for help about a book. In the library, from you, a librarian" She emphasized library and librarian because apparently this witch didn't know much about her purpose or job,

Maybe it was because he was from Australia that the librarian decided to ignore him and if that was the case how was he to find anything in the library for his studies. Ly was going to try to ask one more time, as he opened his mouth so say something he felt a tap on his shoulder. With his mouth still slightly open he turned his head to see a young lady standing next to him. His gaped mouth turned into a grin as he gave the younger lady a nod.
"Yes I am, but just call me Ly." Ly replied to the younger Gryffindor, this was the first person he had actually talked to, being his first day and all he had been a little too worried about his studies. Being new to the school he was still getting use to the climate change as well as trying to remember names of the teachers and the people in his own year. Even though he was always one to be quick off the mark, it was always easier for someone to remember the new guys name, not the other way around. As the younger Gryffindor offered help, Ly was slightly taken back a little. He was the one who would be helping not the one being helped, however, until he was able to find the books he needed on his own he was going to have to accept her offer of help
"I have a History essay to do and I-" Ly stopped as another Gryffindor came to the scene, apperently he wasn't the only one in need of help. Ly was about to reply when another approached the desk, she was a little bit more direct to the librarian then Ly would have been but it was each to his own. Trying hard to offer a polite smile to the librarian, it was his way of apologising even though it was clear she didn't deserve it.
"Seein' as we are all trying to find somethin', perhapes we should ya know work together. After all dusting books is a very tiring job."

Her smile widened as he grinned at her. Well, that probably proved that he wasn't bitter. "Ok Ly." She agreed almost instantly. "That makes it easier on me." She admitted good naturedly. Next thing she knew Lily had walked up as well. She had honestly not seen Lily earlier as she would have most likely abandoned her homework long before this. "I don't need a book." She admitted to Lily before turning to look back at Ly. "Although I was about to help him find a book he needed... On History." She finished more like a question. If she had to admit, she would say she had been slightly sidetracked by Lily. She was about to begin introducing... though she didn't know Ly herself, She thought Lily should know his name. But Alexa somewhat snapped at the Librarian. She could not conceal the grin that appeared on her. Alexa was usually much more calm than this.
Turning towards Alexa she grabbed her wrist gently yet still enough pressure on it to pull her away from the Librarian slightly. "We all know she's useless. But I don't think she'll understand what you're saying. Remember she can't even remember what a Librarian is supposed to do." Robyn spoke to Alexa in muttered undertones. To the point where the person she was talking to would have to strain their ears to hear her. She turned back to the others after that. "Yeah. Maybe we should go to the books now." She said quickly shooting a look at the Librarian who seemed to be sizing up the group that had enlarged in just a few seconds. "I think she see's red now Alexa." Robyn shot Alexa a grin faintly realizing the the Librarian had stopped what she was doing completely just to glare at them all.
Robyn had a feeling they were all driving the Librarian past her small capability of enduring students. Amusement and mischief flashed through her eyes as it passed through her mind. But she had offered to help, and hopefully, maybe miraculously find song books. She doubted there would be any in the Library as she had never seen one. But she had never looked for one. So shooting another quick look at the Librarian trying her hardest to conceal her amusement she turned back with a smile. "Should we begin pouring into the books?" She asked, wondering if everyone was ready to hit the dry pages.

Just as Lily was about to introduce herself to Ly, since that was what he told Robyn to call him she was distracted by Alexa, being rather rude to the librarian. She was rather taken aback for normally Alexa was a calm and not a confrontational person. She looked over and kinda gaped at her, for it took a lot of guts to go up to the librarian and be that rude to her. Then after she realized her mouth was kinda hanging open she immediately closed it, just shook her head, smirking. Leave it to Alexa to get the librarians attention she thought to herself. She was quite amused that she had done this, for if Lily had, she would have been kicked out of the library for the day, lets just say the librarian and Lily were not on very good terms. Hey a girl can't help it that she has to actually talk when she needs help with her homework and is asking another student about it. Apparently the librarian didn't realize this, and resented Lily for always talking in the library, but not like it mattered to Lily. It was rather amusing to see the librarian get it in a huff about things.
Lily then turned her attention to Ly as Robyn went to grab Alexa, so Alexa didn't get banned for life after her little outburst to the librarian. She smiled and introduced herself, "I'm Lily, by the way, I overheard that you're Ly when you were talking to Robyn. Welcome to Hogwarts," she stated warmly. Once Robyn returned to the little group they were forming, Lily nodded her head in agreement to find the books they were all looking for. She still highly doubted there were any books on music in this library, but she sure hoped there would be. If not she would send another owl to her parents asking if they could find a few books for her. Either way she would get her books on music composition, it just might take her awhile to do so.
Lily then looked over once Robyn mentioned the librarian turning red, and had to choke back her laughter, for it was always amusing to see the librarian turn this upset. She had lost track on the countless times she and her friends had made the library turn that color, although Alexa's comments made the librarian create a whole new shade of red that Lily wasn't accustomed of seeing. She then smirked, still having the urge to laugh, but luckily enough was able to repress it. She then stated in an amused sort of voice, "Oh yes lets, I don't want the librarian to have all the blood rush to her head, it might cause her to faint, and yeahh...we just don't want that."

Alexa was starting to get amused. The Librairan this school had to have the worst librarian of the magical world award. Who glares at their students? She would explode soon. Her head was turning a deeper shade of red every minute. It took almost every muscle in Alexa's face not to smile, or laugh. She would hold it back to when she got out of there. Once she was out of the Library doors she was going to burst out laughing. For now she kept her cool. Well as cool as she will ever be with the librarian.
She sighed and turned her gaze away from the librarian. Turning to her normal self with the other students, she smiled. "Sure, Ly. I'm Alexa Longbottom." She then said "Hey Robyn, Hey Lily." She was then forced to look at Robyn. She didn't mind doing so. After Robyn finished talking Alexa responded, with a serious face "Sorry I just have no patience around her. Besides I think she deserved it." She still sounded as polite and sweet as she always is but her face said other wise.
She came back to where the others were. She smiled at what Robyn next said to her. She was probably right, that librarian was not looking too good. She then whispered loud enough for only the other three gryffindors to hear, "If we keep this up I think she will need to go to the Hospital Wing."Then turning back to look at the librarian, trying to look not amused. "Ummmm...Yeah let's get started." Hearing what Lily then said, Alexa had to cough to stop from laughing. Then whispered one again saying "Oh yeah it would be a pity for that to happen." The sarcasm was very much noticiable.

Lily. Ly was going to remember her name as well as Robyn's and Alexa's. They seemed to have the upper hand and he hoped that if he did accidently forgot there names, they would understand and forgive him. It was always easier to remember the new guys name but harder in his position.
He nodded to Robyn's question, he was ready. It wasn't the most entertaining subject he had to study, however he had to study it none the less. Englands history was different to his own, they hardly touched on what happened in England in his old school. It was more about the duelests that came out of his country.
"So which way? The sooner I get this done the sooner I can get to know you all."Ly stated, his accent standing out compaired to their British ones. It wasn't like he was trying to pick any of them up. He was new in Hogwarts and needed to know a few people, make new friends so in hopes his own sister would find it easier. She was always shy when it came to making friends and most of her own friends were also his. Shaking the thought he looked over at his three saviours then at the librarian, perhaps an apology was in order.
"Sorry to interupt you, we'll keep it quite." Turning back to Robyn, Alexa and Lily he gave them a lopsided grin, showing off his pearly whites. He was too much of a gentleman to walk off without apologising to the old woman, his father would kill him for not being polite and he didn't want to get a letter from his father. Scratch that, his father would come to the school and speak with him in front of everyone. So Ly waited for one of the three ladies to show him where the history books were.
(Really sorry for the late post I had no idea what to reply, forgive?)

Robyn smiled at Alexa. She wasn’t lying when she said she just didn’t have any patience around the librarian. But the librarian had long brought it onto herself. She had taken it upon herself to be downright rude to each and every single student that walked through the library doors and touched one of “her books”. It was only natural for the students to deeply dislike her. Something Ly would probably get into the flow of later on. But who knew. It was his first and last year here at Hogwarts.
“Well. It depends what part of History you need to find out about.” She said looking over to the area where most of the History books were located. Unsurprisingly the thickest and oldest looking of books in the Library that weren’t held at the restricted section. But helping someone find a book they needed seemed like a much better deal when you were working on a potions essay. Which your brother just so happened to be very good at, and like a sibling. Tried to help but it only felt they were rubbing it in your face.
“As for getting to know us. Don’t think that’ll be too difficult.” She said with a slight shrug. The three of them weren’t what you called anti-social. So she doubted there would be much of awkward silences between the four of them. Robyn just seemed comfortable in situations like these and it took a lot to take her away from her ease.
“You’re going to regret that apology.” Robyn snickered slightly as she noticed the Librarian looked even more affronted. It seemed the Librarian had taken it as an insult rather than a true apology. She supposed it was just a defense mechanism. After all, she did need one. Having the majority of Hogwarts students dislike her. Some more bold than others. Sometimes she was victim to pranks here and there. Not all from Peeves.
