Hogwarts. It was full of wizards and witches, each with friends and having a good time while studying at the school. However for one young student she was anything but happy. She was a lone necromancer in a school full of the people she hated the most. Cill made no attempt to converse with other students, sure a few had tried to talk to her but her mood was foul when that had attempted.
Necrocilla was still adjusting to the clothing she had to wear, shorter skirts that came to her knees, stockings, shirts and vest. That only thing decent about her clothes were that they were black and green, two of her most loved colours. However she would ahve much rather have the Crow as her symbol instead of a snake, even a spider would have satisfied her. Holding the books she needed for the days lesson Necrocilla opened one of the doors to the great hall, it was still early before breakfast would be served but at the moment it was quiet. Sitting herself down at the far end she pulled out her books and began reading the first few chapters of Charms.
By the time she had managed to read a few pages more people began to fill the room, she took no notice. Everyone was doing their best to avoid her and she in return showed no interest in anyone. It was going to be another long day and night for her, she hadn't slept yet as she was too busy focusing on the subjects she was expected to know. However the more she focused the louder the Great Hall began to get, it was giving her a head ache. Her elbows rested on the table, her fingers moving in circles around her temples, trying to ease her pain and only helped to calm her down. Her fuse was beginning to get shorter as more people came into the room, closing her eyes she did her best to stay quiet but the noise was getting to her and all because she was a lone Necromancer in a school full of wizards.
As Necrocilla opened her eyes she wanted to shut them again, the noise wasn't coming from the Great Hall alone. Standing up and wanting to get out without causing a scene she began picking up her books. Her hands were shakings as she had never seen so many before, she did try to keep her composure but as she began to walk towards the doors her knees gave way. Falling to the ground her books scattered everywhere but all she could hear was laughter from both the Slytherin table and the Gryffindor table.

Alexa was bushed. She got dressed in her school robes and went down to breakfast. She went to the great hall and sat down at her table. She was very tired, since she had stayed up reading half the night. She was offered a seat with some of her other Ravenclaw companions. She loved the school and the people in it, most of the people. They were friendly and talkative. She was just about to respond to something her companion had said, when she heard everyone errupt in laughter. She turned to see what was so funny, In time to see a slytherin girl getting up from the floor.
Being the compassionate, caring person she is. She excused her self from her table for a moment and went to help her get her books. She crouched and took several books from the floor. with a straight face, showing no humor from what just happened, she stretched out her hand as an offering. Then looking at the slytherin said "Need any help?"

Books scattered everywhere as she got herself on to her knees slowly, she felt drained and with the room being more crowded it wasn't something anyone else would see. Looking up she noticed one girl picking up her books, she showed no expression that she found it amusing and was heading towards her, however she could still hear laughter. All she wanted to do was curse her whole house, and she would have done it if it wasn't for her fathers words that kept her in line.
As a hand was offered to her she looked up and saw the crest of the raven, so the girl helping her was from Ravenclaw. To Cilla this was somewhat of a sign seeing as her most loyal companion was a crow. At first she was hesitate, should she? Should she be kind to this wizard? The only time Cilla was ever kind to anyone was when it favoured her or when the other person had something to offer that she wanted. However the cries she could still hear around her was making it hard to choose.
"Thank you." In her own mind she was smiling wickedly but to the Ravenclaw she compsed a stressed and slighly humiliated expression. Taking the Ravenclaw girls hand she managed to get to her own feet, the other had warm hands compared to Cilla's cold ones. One would think her to be a vampire because of that coldness however it was just her usual body tempreture.
"My books?" Cilla asked politely, she could now hear that the laughing had died down and all eyes were on her and the Ravenclaw girl. Was it so strange to see another house member offer help to another? Cilla still knew nothing about how Hogwarts worked and what the houses truely meant, she hadn't even heard of the battle that took place here several years ago. However she did know there was a battle here, it was just a Necromancers interition.

All Alexa could hear was the laughing of the students. Honestly all she wanted to do was glare at them. Were they so starved for entertainment. They were very rude. When the laughing died down, Alexa put a smile. That was a better sound. Silence. The bad thing was that it stopped for a bad reason. It wasn't weird that two houses were friends. Well for Alexa it wasn't, she had many. Of course that was because she was always so friendly towards everyone. It was her nature. She didn't care if the person was slytherin, muggleborn, or half goblin. All that mattered was making another friend. Which was exactly what she was planning to do.
After a while the girl spoke. Alexa smiled and said "Yeah right.", she handed the books over and added "I'm Alexa Longbottom." Hopefully the girl woudn't judge jer by her father or mother. They are great people and did excellent work in the battle many years before. She was proud to be their daughter and proud to have that last name.

There was only three type of people in Cilla's book, Necromancers, wizards and muggles. How pure the blood was wasn't something she cared about, it was their opinions on necromancy that made Cilla choose who she wanted to be around. It was more then likely because of this she had been reluctant to talk to anyone, the only people she had spoke to since she came were two other Slytherins who were not here at the present time. Not that it mattered, Cilla wasn't one to get attached in the first meeting and there were very few people in her life that she did get attached too. As the Ravenclaw handed over her books she held them close to her chest, she was still dizzy from what had happened but sure enough they were leaving which meant Cilla would be her old self very soon.
As the other introduced herself to Cilla she noticed that she was a little cautious when using her name. Was she a bad person? Or did people just look down at her because of her parents? If the later was the case then she didn't want to know the people who had judged her like that as Cilla hated being judged herself. Giving Alexa a nod in acknowledgment she decided to introduce herself as well.
"Necrocilla Van Derest." She replied, Cilla was sure that Alexa wouldn't know who she was for Cilla had no idea about anyone that resided in Hogwarts. Even though they lived in the same country for years her existance wasn't know until a few years ago. "Is there a reason why people are staring?" Cilla asked as her eyes shifted around the room to see a few people still seemed interested in the two girls who were standing in between two house tables.

It took a while for Alexa to answer Necrocilla. She didn't exactly know why people were staring. The first reason she thought was because they were from different houses. The other reason could be because maybe they were waiting for it to turn into something entertaining. Since she wasn't sure of either hypothesis she just went with the simplest but most true answer, " I'm not quite sure. Do you have any idea why?" Alexa now was rather confused. It was getting annoying. She could feel the stares boar into her back.

Cilla did her best to conceal a slightly fustrated sigh but it passed through her lips none the less. Of course she had no idea why, even though she was a sixth year student this was her first year at Hogwarts. She was still getting use to the idea of being around wizards and witches and not her own people. Taking another look around the hall her fingers were itching to take hold of her wand and curse the lot of them. She hadn't being judged which was what they were probably doing, judging her either because she was a Slytherin or because she wasn't a real witch.
"I wouldn't have asked if I knew the answer, its my first year." She explained to Alexa, the tone in her voice expressed the fustration she was building up. It wouldn't take much more before Cilla's temper got the better of her. The only question would be, when her temper did take over, would she take it out on the one who helped her? Or the others that were staring? That outcome would be the same as flipping a cion, her guess was as good as anyone elses.

Alexa found herself in a bit of a situation. Apparently she was being stupid. She then had an idea of what could be said. For a moment she was in a bit of a shock from the tone in Cilla's voice. "Well, I'm sorry, but maybe that's why they're staring. You are the new girl." This was probably the most accurate reason for staring. Prejudice against houses was another good reason, although it was not as accurate as this last one. It was hard to say what the reason was. there could be many reasons, since there are so many people in Hogwarts. Everyone could have a different reason for staring.
