Alexa looked out her dormitory window. It was a beautiful day outside and there were no classes. She was determined to go outside. She went down the moving stairs and passed the Great Hall. When she passed the entrance she saw how many people were also thinking it was nice outside. She passed them thinking she was not going to be able to change into her panther form. It didn't matter much.
She stopped near the shore of the lake and sat down. Looking around she sighed. Most people where not near the lake but she could hear the muffled sound of everyone talking at once. She looked out at the lake and saw many birds swimming around. Seeing as it was so peaceful she eventually layed down comepletely and looked at the sky. There were hardly any clouds to see and the sun was shinning and keeping her face warm. She closed her eyes to not harm them and lay there like she was asleep. She was fully concious of her surroundings no matter her appearance.

Teddy walked out on the Hogwarts grounds on a warm day. Perfect for hanging out all day, which obviously others thought was nice also. He noticed near the lake was the less crowded area of the grounds, so he decided to head that way. His hands were in his pockets as he walked, deep in thought about the year to come. Who knows what would be in store for him in his final year at Hogwarts?
Teddy noticed a girl lying out by the lake, looking as if she was asleep. He grinned when he got an idea. He approached the water's edge, and quickly splashed some of the lake water on to her. He chuckled quietly and sat down on the grass infront of her, looking quite pleased with himself.

Alexa was getting sleepy. No matter how hard she tried she always found a way into unconciousness. Since there weren't many people around she decided to go with the flow. As soon as she got into a dreamless sleep she felt herself getting wet. She woke immediately. Her eyes wide open to see who had splashed her. While getting up she yelled "Hey!"
When she was able to adjust to the bright light given off by the sun she saw a boy with a strange shade of blue hair. Even though she tried to keep her face composed she didn't try hard enough for at that moment all she looked like was a wet, confused girl. After composing herself as well as she could she smirked and went closer to the lake. As swift and fast as she could she splashed him back. Revenge was sweet, but it had now turned into a game. When she had finished splashing him several times she started laughing. It was just funny to see him soaking wet. Inbetween her laughter she said "I'm Alexa" It was hardly understandable but clear enough to understand. She stopped after half a minute and just left a smile to show her amusement.

Teddy smirked again when he got a good reaction from her, but without even 30 seconds to rebound, she splashed him back. He sat there, waiting for her to stop. Once she did, he looked up through his now moist turquoise hair hanging in his face and smiled.
"Finished?" he asked. He flipped his hair back out of his face so he could see better. "Teddy." He shook out his hair, and then smoothed it back. "What were you doing sleeping out here next to the lake. Merpeople could have dragged you down while you slept and you would've drowned."

Alexa looked at the lake when he reffered to the Merpeople. She could think of nothing else to dsay escept the truth so she just went with that. "Honestly, I didn't even think about that. I was just relaxing and didn't even think about that. I was sleeping involuntarily." Then she looked back at him and with a very proud voice, still keeping the smile said "Besides they couldn't handle trying to get me down there. I'd be a handful." She sat back down when she was sure he would not splash her again. Facing the lake, now she was making sure nothing would pull her down there. Just to be safe. She still keeped a relaxed form however. She was positive about what she said, getting her there would be a handful for them.

Teddy nodded at her answer.
"Sleeping involuntarily," he repeated. "I wouldn't be so sure that you'd be a handful. Very capable creatures, those merpeople." He looked down into the lake as she did. "Well, if you believe you'd be a handful for them, what about the giant squid in the lake?" He smirked at this. "That could easily pull you down."

Alexa turned back to the turquoise haired boy. He seemed to be very well informed about the creatures that lived in the Lake. She opened her mouth to give an answer, but had to close it after several seconds. She didn't really know how to respond to that. After a while she opened it again and said 'Well.....I don't know what to do about that. But I bet I could persuade it to let me go." She smiled and added, "Infact I'm sure I could persuade it." She had just come up with an idea that could surely be able to let her get free of the suids grasp. It was a spurr of the moment thing.

Teddy snickered. He relaxed a bit on the grass before speaking.
"You think you could persuade the giant squid?" he asked, going along with what she was saying. "And how would you persuade it to let you go?" She seemed like one of those people that could find a solution to anything, no matter how unlikely it was to work. Another one of those 'It will never happen to me.' Teddy found it quite entertaining, actually. The day wouldn't be wasted, after all.

Alexa was planning on him to inquire more about her plan. Infact even if he wouldn't ask she would tell him anyway. It was entertaining. In a sarcastic but amused voice she said "I would just convince it to take you instead of me. Your hair would attract it like a flower attracts a bee." She chuckled at the end and gave an innocent smile. It really looked innocent. It was the same one she used with the teachers when she got in trouble for roaming around Hogwarts late at night. It was worth a million words, like a picture.

Teddy smirked. She must be brilliant to come up with such things.
"Really? That's what you'd do, have it take me instead." He tried to disregard the hair comment, but he was unsuccessful. "That might not always be the case." And with that, Teddy's turquoise hair turned to a dark brown. "What if it wasn't blue?" He was being just as bad with the 'what if,' continuing a list that could grow quite long. He didn't mind who knew about him being a metamorphmagus, he actually enjoyed it, and would rather inherit that trait than his father's werewolf trait. Teddy wouldn't want to be that destructive, even though it did sound cool.

Alexa was having fun. It was easy to like Teddy. She was amazed when he changed his hair color. At first her face showed extreme surpirse. Then when she was able to compose herself, she put her hand on her chin, part of her act. Looking like she was thinking, pondering. When she finally thought of some way to answer him she smiled. It was amazing how well her mind worked when it wanted to. She criss-crossed her legs in a more comfortable position, and looked at Teddy with a smirk. She was very much amused. She was not going to get bored anytime soon. When she thought she added enough suspense she spoke, sarcastic tone noted, "Well that would be a problem at first, but easily fixed. I could still persuade it to take you instead." thinking she confused him a bit she added. "I am a girl and so I have a special gene for ocassions like these. I can flirt with the squid. Considering it is a he. If it's a she then even more reason for it to take you." When she finished she chuckled and layed back down. She was very proud of herself to be able to think about such things in a quick second. Teddy being so logical was easy for her to answer back with common sense. Very much like reverse psychology, only with very weird situations.
