She is already as tall as some of the seventh years, at 5'9''. Rosie definitely has some meat on her bones, but it's matched by her height so nobody really notices it.
Unfortunately, Rose got Hermione's long teeth. Remembering how much distress it caused her, Hermione tried to fix them herself. Rosie's teeth are now a more normal size, but her two front teeth are slightly different lengths. This is why Rosie tries to smile without showing her teeth, but she usually forgets and shows them anyway.
Personality: There is no doubt in either of her parents' minds that Rosie completely took after Hermione concerning personality. She has her mother's brilliant mind and love for learning. Rose has gotten top marks on every bit of work she's done since the very beginning of her years at Hogwarts, something that her parents are extremely proud of. She also has Hermione's bossy attitude and need to follow the rules. It worries her to no end when she knows of someone breaking the rules. Another thing that Hermione passed down was her emotional and temperamental attitude. Rosie gets upset quite easily. Being a Gryffindor, she is extremely loyal to both friends and family. She likes to stand up for what she believes in and is always willing to tell someone off when she feels they need a good yelling at. She truly is Hermione's child.
History: Rosie was born on a cold February day in 2006 at the Burrow. She was born only slightly before Albus Potter, her cousin. The two cousins are extremely close, mostly due to their age and being in the same house and year in school.
Rosie always tries to keep her trouble making family under control, but usually to no avail. The only person that really listens to her is the one that doesn't controlling- her mother.
Rose loves her brother, Hugo. She looks after him just as a big sister should, but maybe a little more than is needed. She is constantly bugging him about getting good grades and staying on the good side of people. At school she also makes sure that he is well behaved. Rosie tends to be a little over protective and watchful. She tries to take over the role of her mother when Hermione is not there.
First year: Rosie wore her brand-new school robes, even before she got on the train. She was quite nervous about the year to come, and most certainly didn’t approve of her dad’s jokes. There was always that little voice in the back of her head that turned the jokes into the worst possible outcomes. But after the sorting hat announced to the whole school that she would be in Gryffindor house, most of the worries slipped from her mind. All she had to worry about was making friends and getting good grades. Getting good grades was no problem for her though, since she, like her mother, caught onto things very quickly. But making friends was…a challenge. Rosie got so absorbed in her school work that she almost forgot to make a couple friends. There were always the girls who she shared a dorm with, but other than that she really hadn’t talked to a lot of people. She went home mad at herself, and determined to make at least one good friend in her second year.
Second year: Rosie had one less thing to worry about this year: her sorting was already decided. Thankful that that was over, she decided to focus more on her studies, and also a little on meeting new people. But, of course, she put her studies in front of everything else. Rosie did spend a little time with her cousin Albus, though, throughout the year. Once again she received top marks in every class.
Third year: This is the year that Hugo and Lily attended school for their first year. Rosie was constantly reassuring her brother Hugo that he wouldn’t end up in Slytherin, and that he could be with her in Gryffindor. Rosie watched intently as her brother had the sorting hat placed on his head, wringing her hands together and trying to catch his eye by smiling at him. To both her and Hugo’s relief, the sorting hat placed him in Gryffindor. Rosie looked at him and said in a know-it-all tone, “I told you so.”
Rosie felt like she needed to play the role of her mother and watch over her younger brother. She would constantly check up on him and make sure that he was doing his homework.
Fourth year: Rosie laid back a little on guiding Hugo through the year. She just didn’t have the time to deal with him, her classes, and making friends. By now, Rosie had some definite friends.
Fifth year: Rosie is more than ready for yet another year at school. She’s been practicing all her spells and has been reading book after book. She can’t wait until they get back into classes so that she can add on to her knowledge.
