The sound of silence was suddenly interupted by the sound of heavy metal, blasting away on a tiny box that had scarlet red numbers printed on them. A sudden hand had popped out from beneath the covers; reaching towards the booming box and then slammed on it. The music had stopped and the covers flew off. There revealed a young girl with long black hair, with scarlet red streaks, pale gray eyes, and tan skin. She wasn't not a morning person. She hated the morning. She layed in bed for a few minutes, thinking about, how the summer had ended and now it was time for her to enter her sixth year. She sighed heavily as she heard her twin, giggling happily as she was happy to be in the sixth year, and was happy that she had aced her OWLs exams. Madison did exceedingly well, but didn't ace her exams, which she really didn't care. She was doing something that made her happy, and it was her music. That was the only thing that made her smile. She began playing her guitar and played a few notes, trying to adjust her strings and heard a knocking on her door. She knew that was her father, just keeping what he had done for the past couple of years. That was Maddie's wake up call. Madison sighed as she continued to adjust her strings and shouted. 'I'll be right there." As she continued to twist and turn; tightening and losing the strings, as it made pitches that were high, and some were low. Then she was finally done.
She had came down the staircase, knowing her late aunt, who had passed away only eight years ago, had came down when she had lived her. Madison was close with her late aunt. She was like her pen-pal; the only person she could go to with things she couldn't tell her parents, not even her father. Now she was gone, and yet Maddie still writes to her as if she were still alive. With a sigh of relief she had reached the dining room and rummaged into her seat. She quietly sat down at the table and fiddled with her food. Alexa on the other hand, was just babbling on about what she was planning to do. Maddie had looked up to see her mother, listening intensively, with a stupid smile on her face. It made Maddie glare. "Alexa..what a suck up. Always got to do what mother tells her. Why doesn't mother just say "Dance Monkey Dance.." I am sure Alexa would have done it.." Madison thought, and then chuckled. Both Alexa and Khyara looked at her. "What is so funny Madison?" her mother asked her. Madison just shrugged. 'Nothing." Madison said as she finished her breakfest and made a break for her room. "MADISON!! It's your turn to take Junior this year." Madison stopped dead in her tracks. "NO it's Alexa's turn." Madison shouted back. "NO it's your turn..and don't leave him in a muggle bathroom like you did his first year." Madison rolled her eyes but then just remembering that, brought a smirk to his face. "He NEEDED TO GO!!" Madison shouted back. "AND THEN YOU LEFT HIM." her mother shouted. "HE STILL MADE IT..HE'S THIRTEEN NOW HE IS A BIG BOY NOW!!" Madison said as she started up the staircase. "YEAH HE IS, BUT THERE ARE STILL COOKY PEOPLE OUT THERE." Madison rolled her eyes.."FINE I'LL TAKE HIM..IF IT WILL MAKE YOU STOP NAGGING." Madison said as she started to run up the stairs. 'JUNIOR GET READY..WE'RE LEAVING." Madison said. "AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY IFS OR BUTS ABOUT IT." Madison said as she slammed the door to her bedroom and got everything ready. She hated how her mother just had to be over-protective over Junior..like he was some kind of god. Madison had gotten her things together, along with her guitar. "Finally I am out of this place..for the next nine to ten months." Madison said as she walked out her door and waited for Junior.
Once he had appeared in the den, Madison put her things into fireplace. "Come on Junior. The faster we get out of here; the better." Madison spoke as she tossed Junior's things into the fireplace. Both Junior and Madison walked into the fireplace, as they both grabbed a handful of Floo Powder and together shouted.."KING'S CROSS." and slammed the powdered down as they were engulfed in bright green flames, and disappeared into the darkness, only to appear into an abandon fireplace, at King's Cross Train Station. Madison and Junior grabbed their stuff and wandered to the crossing of platforms nine and three-quarters. "Junior, you know I love you, but you just had to be the special one didn't you?" Madison said with a smirk. Junior just smirked back, as they both ran into the pillar and entered where all the students were getting hugged and kissed by their families. Madison gathered her things, placed her trunk with the others, and took her guitar case, along with her note book and quill and disappeared into the train, as she looked for an empty compartment, which was at end, and walked in sitting down on her seat crossed legged, opened her guitar case, pulled it out and started to play, making notes to her upcoming song.

It was that time of year again, it was time for Lily Potter to board the train to start her third year at Hogwarts. She was so excited she could hardly stand it, her second year at Hogwarts had been amazing for her and she just could not wait to have another great year. She awoke the sound of her alarm clock, and at first could not figure out why it was ringing at such an early hour. Then after the sleepyness had worn off she realized it was time for her to return to Hogwarts. She immediately flew back the covers and jumped out of bed only to fall flat on her face. Her foot was still wrapped up in her sheets and when she tried to jump out she fell over. She let out a soft moan, and realized what a lovely way the day was starting off. She shrugged it off and unwrapped her foot from the blankets, and then finally got up and bounded from her room.
She ran from her room to her brothers room. She quickly flew open the door and ran to jump on her brother Albus, only to find him awake and alert as her. It was a great disappointment to her, but then she saw that James wasn't up yet, and a devilish smile appeared on her pink lips. She ran and jumped on him and yelled, "RAWR!" Her brother awoke with a started and started yelling for Lily to get off of him, but being a good big brother that he was he started to playfully tickle and wrestle with her, and her brother Albus joined in on the fun.
Ginny noticed that the three children were not downstairs for breakfast and soon discovered why for they were all playfully wrestling with each other in the boys' room. She laughed and rounded her children up to go down and eat breakfast. Lily jumped off Jame's bed and walked down the staircase to the table. She could hardly eat for excitement but she still managed to eat two chocolate chip pancakes, which just happened to be her favorite. After she finished eating she ran upstairs to get dressed in her favorite graphic tee, skinny jeans, and her white and pink Chuck Taylor Converse. After she was dressed she dragged her trunk down the stairs to the living room.
That's when she saw that her father was home from work just to see his children off to Hogwarts. She yelled, "Daddy!" and ran to hug him. Harry chuckled at his daughter's antics and hugged her back, "Well someone is excited this morning." She replied sweetly, "Of course daddy, it's time to go back to Hogwarts! Who wouldn't be excited!" Harry replied with an amusing tone, "Well you're right, I know when I was your age, I was excited as you were." She smiled and hugged him one more time before her mother stated it was time to go.
All of the Potter family traveled through the Floo Network to reach Kings Cross station for the children to board the Hogwarts express. Lily was to go first through the barrier with Harry, and the rest would follow behind her. As she entered the barrier the Hogwarts Express was waiting for her and she almost jumped for joy. After all the family was together once again it was time to say their goodbyes. Lily ran and hugged and kissed her mother saying she would write often and Ginny replied that she would look forward to it with tears in her eyes. Lily then turned and hugged her father who told her to be good, and to win the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor once again. She giggled replying that she would.
She then found herself on the train once again, and trying to find a seat. She had her carrier with Padfoot and her trunk traveled to the back of the train to find a seat. As she walked farther back into the train she heard a few strums a guitar which intrigued her. She always wanted to learn how to play for that way it would give her an excuse to sing more. She soon found the compartment where the guitar was coming from, and open the doors gently. She recognized the girl instantly for it was Madison Black, and she gave her a bashful smile. She in a timid voice said, "I heard you playing your guitar it sounded great! Is that ok if I sit with you?"

Madison knew this year was going to be the same, always a great feast that will be held for the newly students that will arrive this year at Hogwarts. She rolled her eyes at that thought. She was tired of seeing all these happy go lucky firsties who just think they rule the school, until the upper years get a piece of them, especially the Slytherins. Her twin sister Alexa was in Ravenclaw, and Junior was in Slytherin with her. Junior like her father, became as popular once he turned thirteen. Now there were girls dangling off of him like he was some bloody christmas tree. Alexa of course was also with her "group" of friends who liked to study or just being girls. Maddie on the other hand, hung out with the outcasts, and the ones that played music. Sometimes they drew in people who would sit down and listen to them play, others would just listen off in the distance, or they just didn't care.
Madison continue to play her guitar, writing down notes, before she knew it, her compartment door had swung open and there appeared a girl with fiery red-orangish hair, that Madison recongized. "Lily Potter." She said as her lips curled into a smirk. "No time; no see." She replied as she watched the newly third year stand at her door, admiring her playing. Maddie smirked turned into a smile as Lily had complimented her playing. "Thanks." She said as she pressed her guitar closely to her, holding it. "Yeah, sure..make yourself comfortable." Madison said as with a smirk.

Lily smiled, "Thanks Maddie. I really appreciate it, it seems as if all the new little first years have crowded this train." She then put her trunk in the corner, and gently placed Padfoot in his carrier next to her. For some reason she knew this year would be different from all the last. She was getting different looks from the boys that surrounded her and she couldn't figure out why, was something different about her? Also many students went out of their way to say hi to her and offer her a place to sit but she didn't know them very well so she declined. She always felt a little awkward around new people.
As she settled in her seat she noticed that Maddie had her notebook out writing down notes which Lily was sure she was forming a new song. She smiled at the dark haired girl sitting across from her. "I hope you had a a good summer, I know I did! I actually found time to write some new songs in the process. It looks like you've done the same."

Madison chuckled at that thought. "Yeah they do. Seems like there are less and less students in the upper years than the lower, but then again, it could be because you know the people in your year that you just lose count and when you see the new years come in, you realize how big the group is." Madison said as she moved her fingers that held a quill as she was counting and then writting down a couple of notes, and tuning them on her guitar. Madison knew her band was working on tunes somewhere on the train. Maddie didn't choose to sit with them mostly because she needed time to think and she knew she was going to hang with them during the upcoming year at Hogwarts, so she decided to sit alone.
Maddie smiled as she thought about her summer. 'Yeah, I did. I spent the time in my basement with my band practicing, and going over the songs that I had written over the summer and last year." Maddie stuck the quill in her mouth and began searching for her pages with her songs. She pulled them out and handed them to Lily. She then took the quill out of her mouth. Maddie laughed. "Really? How do your parents cope with the noise? That's why I asked to have the basement since my mother doesn't like the noise we make, but my father likes it. I guess I get a lot of qualities and traits from my father." Madison said, knowing that her father was a BIG support in her music, and loved to hear the songs she came up with. 'How was your summer Lily?" Madison asked.

Lily laughed at Maddie's comments about the little first years. She was right about it. Lily had was used to seeing all the people in her year that she forgot how many people actually compose a year of students. She shook her head as she laughed for she knew how scared the little first years will be when each of their names are called to have the Sorting Hat placed upon their heads. She herself was scared when she had the hat placed upon her head, and her brothers would never let her forget the look of terror upon her face when her name was called and the hat placed upon her head.
Lily took the songs that Maddie handed them and looked over them. They were phenomenal and made Lily wish she was able to write like this. Hopefully one day she thought to herself that she'll be able to compose and write songs like this. "Wow Maddie these songs are great! My parents don't have to cope with too much noise yet, for I only play my keyboard in my room when I write my songs. Mostly the melody and music plays in my head when it comes to my songs since I don't have a band like yourself. I just like writing songs and composing music you know? My summer was great, I spent a lot of writing, practicing Quidditch with my brothers and dad, and just hanging out with my family and my friends. Oh, I also read a lot too."

Madison had a sudden flash back of what it had been like when she was just a simple first year. How her heart had begun to be, faster and faster. How she could feel the eyes of everyone upon her. How her long black hair, fell over her face. She was no body then, She was only a simple new year student. She wasn't Madison Black, the one that would stand out years after. She had no identity, other than the simple image of Alexa Black. She shook her head as the fainted echo of "Slytherin' escaped her mind. "Those were the days huh." Madison said as she laughed at how much she had changed from being a first year, til now.
Madison chuckled. "Thanks. I usually get good ideas when I am bored, or just have nothing better else to do." Madison said, smirking. "Oh you'll get there. I wasn't good myself until I just sat down one day and began to write. It comes to you when you least expect it." Madison confessed. It was true. Madison didn't know how to write so well, or even know how to put notes with words and a rhythm together until she finally got up one day and began to write, and then the melody came to her, along with the notes and wall-la..a song she had created was born. "I was in your year when I formed a band. It happened at the end of the year." Madison said. Maddie chuckled. "I sure do."

Scorpius woke up to yet another year of his father shaking him awake. Why did he insist on waking him up so d**n early?! He would have much rather prefered that he be let stay in bed until everyone was already up and enjoying their last breakfast in their home for a long time. He after all only took a few seconds to change and didn't find a need to wake up at ungodly hours of the morning. Six O'clock. "Bloody Hell!" He muttered aggrivatedly at his father as he turned himself around to be face down into his pillow. How he wished the sleep would consume him in mere seconds. Alas, No. Scorpius Malfoy was a very light sleeper and once he was awake, It would take drugs or exhaustion to put him out once more. He heard his fathers low slow chuckle as he felt himself being pushed on his sides to face upwards once more.
"Get up Scorpius." Draco continued in what seemed like a chant to Scorpius. The same phrase kept coming out of his mouth in an oddly patient way. After all, Draco had become a patient man once he finally decided to be the man he was supposed to be. "Get up Son, or I'll make sure you are late!" His voice raised slightly. The irritation was showing. Scorpius was pleased.[/i]
Scorpius turned himself around to face upward, his eyes now looking into his fathers similar ones. Scorpius had inherited his fathers eyes from speck to hue. "I'm up Old man." He answered with a large grin on his face. His father hated to be called old, even though he himself used it as an excuse to keep the others calm. How else would he be able to survive with a house full of Teenagers and one him. That's where Scorpius stepped in. As the Eldest out of all Four Malfoy children, he was another voice of authority in the house. Even though the rest griped and complained the whole time for having to listen to him. His father after all was a busy man. "What do you want at this..." Scorpius trailed off and looked around the still dark room. The Sun hadn't even fully appeared yet for Merlins Sake! "Amazing and best time of the day?" Scorpius finished with a slight frown at his father. He wanted answers.
"From what I recall Scorpius. You did not finish packing your things like I have asked you for the past week. Explain to me how your younger brothers and sisters did as they were told and you have yet to be even half finished?" Draco said with a tone of finality as he stood from his oldest son's bed, prepared to leave his room. Each of his children had their own room as He and Nelle invested in a larger home. He had wanted a large loving family with the wife he loved. "You should be grateful that I gave you that much little extra time to sleep. Now you will just have to rush to get all your things. And I will be d**ned if you send more than one letter asking for one thing and another for me to send over." Draco told his son sternly as he forced himself to keep his smile away. "Remember what we have worked on every year Scorpius. At Least one less letter a year asking for your things... That means you only have Four letters to send for your things. Use them appropriately." Draco told his son as he walked out of the room and towards his study to work. He would give the rest of his children a few more hours before he woke them up, or they woke up on their own.[/i]
Scorpius groaned into his pillow before sitting up and throwing it across at the opposite wall. He really had no room to complain. But that did not stop him and his furious muttering. He began piling all the things he though he would need for the year. Once the trunk was filled and he stared into it hopelessly for a few minutes before he checked his watch and realized he had a couple of hours. His brothers and sisters should be waking up pretty soon. Shutting it quickly he looked around his room for his owls cage. Then he would have to worry about tracking Ember from her perch in their owl room. With a yawn, one that signaled he would sleep well the following night he walked down the stairs dragging his trunk down not bothering to muffle it's thuds as he made his way down. Leaving it near the doorway he walked into the kitchen to see his father reading the Daily Prophet and frowning at a few things.
His brothers and sisters came down a few minutes later as the family enjoyed their breakfast and was then ushered out by their father. They would reach Kings Cross by Floo powder. They only had after all about half an hour before the train left. Arriving at the station they made their fairly large group in through the barrier where they all were ready to leave and find their own friends. "Bye Dad." Scorpius said to his dad as his father insisted for a hug. With a blush Scorpius gave his father a hug. He was definitely too old for this. Pulling back quickly he waved calling out behind him. "I might send some letters. I'll see you on break dad." He smiled one last time before looking to make sure all Three others were safe around their dad when he made his way onto the train dragging his trunk behind him.
He walked a few carts of the train wondering where the rest of his large family was scattered. It wasn't a surprise to see a compartment full of people he recognized. Obviously some of his family had already arrived and had a compartment. Entering it without invitation he set his trunk on the racks and went over to sit at an available seat. His cousin Madison had her guitar out like always. Lily Potter was beside her surely talking about singing and music. The two were a group when it came to that. Then there was James just sitting there lazily as always. Looking at his old piece of parchment. "Stalking someone in the castle James?" Scorpius asked with an amused smirk appearing on his features. "Would it be the headmistress?" His smirk widened as he turned to look at the two other girls and smile at them in greeting.

Post by Alexandria Malfoy on Jun 12, 2008 21:24:17 GMT -6
Alexandria had fallen into a deep sleep, occassion resting on the opened pages of her book that she would be soon studying once she had entered her third year at Hogwarts. She simply awoke up early, much more earlier than the rest of her siblings. Alexandria sat up and stretched, moving the messy black hair out of her face. She looked around her darken room, that was yet to be filled with the roaming sunlight that was seemly peeking over the horizon of their large lawn. Alex sighed as she looked down at the book she had been reading the previous night, and placed a simple bookmark in it and closed it. She quickly moved her satan sheets off of her and quickly jumped to her feet. The book she had been reading had been her mother's who was recently deceased. She had found it a while ago in her father's study. She had learned a lot about her mother through the pages her mother had hand-written herself. She had to hide it, for she wasn't sure if her father wanted her to have it, since it had been locked in the drawer, abandon, exiled there for eternity. Alex had placed the only thing left of her mother; safely into her trunk and then headed downstairs were she ordered some breakfest to the house-elves who were so kindly to make it for her.
Alex knew that her father was probably upstairs up in his office right now, ordering people around like usual, and probably trying to get her eldest brother Scorpius up. Alex waited patiently as her food was being made. She could hear her father now, bellowing through the halls in that deep malfoy tone he inherted from grandfather. Alex simply chuckled and then thanked the house-elf before making her way back up the marble staircase that curled up to the next floor. There she could see her father standing in Scorpius's room, yelling at him as usual to get up. Alex just shook her head, and strolled over to an anicent portrait of one of their ancesters and opened it. Beneath the portrait was a secret staircase that took Alex where she wanted to go, and then headed back into her room, without being in the eyes of her father.
Alex had known her father had suffered a terrible blow by losing his life partner, his best friend for a long time. Alex could never have a real conversation with her father, mostly because his excuse was "he was too busy". Alex had gotten used to the blows when he had made plans with her when she was younger, but lost track of time when it came to her. She had cried several times, and there was her brother Scorpius to spend that time with her. Alex had gotten used to the fact of not being the apple in her father's eyes, Alex sat down at her desk and began eating. She had packed the night before, getting everything straight before the rush to King's Cross for the students of Hogwarts.
As soon as it was time to leave for King's Cross, Alexandria had gotten dress in her school uniform, gather her Egyptian Bass Athena and placed her in her cage where she could settle down, grabbed her trunk and walked over towards the rest of the family as they diapperated to King's Cross in the very fashionable way. Alex never gazed up at her father, knowing he couldn't gazed back at her. Alex just kept her nose in her book as she knew the way well. She walked through the platforms nine and three-quarters, and then gazed up to see the train just sitting there as it had been during the past two years she stumbled upon it. She just sighed and walked over towards the train, saying nothing to her father, and grabbed a hold of her mother's journal, grabbed Athena's cage, and walked onto the train to find an empty compartment.
Alex had walked through the narrow corridor, passing people along the way and found an empty compartment in the middle, where she could be alone, since she didn't have too many friends. There she set Athena free, and let her curl up in her lap, opened her mother's journal and began to read.

Lily listened intently as Madison recalled how she came up with songs and how she had started her band her third year. It always amazed Lily as Madison described her song-writing process, for it seemed slightly different from Lily's. Lily constantly felt inspired by the world around her, and always wrote songs from the heart. It seemed as if each song she wrote was a reflection on how she was feeling during the writing of the song, and the words of the song were her way of expressing how she was feeling. Then after she wrote the song she would take it with her to her keyboard figuring out the rhythms, melodies, and notes of the song. She then spoke again with an air of amazement in her voice, "Wow that's so interesting to hear Maddie, thanks for sharing that with me!"
She then looked up and her green eyes lighted up as she saw her oldest brother, James, enter the comportment to sit with her and Maddie. She then smiled and let out a small laugh as she saw her brother pull out the familiar piece of old parchment that she has grown accustomed to seeing. She just shook her head an stated with amusement in her voice, "Hello James, trying to spy upon the teachers at Hogwarts already?"
Before her brother could reply with a smart comment back to her, she heard the compartment door open again, and this time Scorpious Malfoy appeared before this odd assortment of a group. Strangely Lily and him have formed an odd friendship even with the age difference. They always seemed to get in a bit of trouble together, but it was always worth it and a lot of fun in the process. She observed that he had grown up a bit more over the summer, and was looking so much like his father. She felt herself turning a pinkish color as she thought this and quickly looked away as he sat down. She then acknowledge his smile with a smile of her own and a cheerful greeting, "Hello Scorpious."

Robyn had woken up to her alarm beeping like usual. Merlin how she hated that clock. The invention of Alarms. Anything that disturbed her peacful sleep. The culprit was Always that d**n alarm clock. With the random occasions of it being her mother. Today like every day she leaves for Hogwarts, she was blessed with the wake up call of two of her most favourite ways of waking up. "Robyn! Wake up Sweetie! It's Hogwarts Today!" Her mothers cheerful resounding voice carried around the house. She could invision her father moaning about his wife being too loud. Something she shared with her father. Rolling over Robyn pressed her forehead against the cool wall that hugged the whole left side of her bed. Somehow her covers had ended up bunched up in different corners of the bed. Like usual.
"Great. Hogwarts. School. Potions." She groaned as she tried to bury herself in the crack that was made of the space between the wall and her bed. Everything felt cooler from that position. "And to top it all off. Early mornings for school." Robyn groaned as she tried to fall back to sleep. But was her Alarm clock alive?! "Son of a..." She trailed off as she sat up to turn the clock off. That was perhaps the Third time she had to do this. Did anyone really need to wake up at Seven in the morning? The train left at Eleven. She would only need a total of Thirty minutes to do everything she needed to do. Although she would probably miss her shower. Hearing a slight giggle her eyes snapped to her doorway. There stood her mom with her wand out. So the clock wasn't alive. "So much for that theory." She mumbled under her breath as she pushed herself back to have her back resting on one of her windows in her room.
"Robyn. Get up and get ready. You don't want to be stinky when you arrive at Hogwarts do you?" Her mother asked. Robyn outwardly groaned. She had taken a shower the night before. And for perfect reason. So she could get another few extra minutes of sleep in the morning! Well that plan had failed miserably. She was up at ungodly hours. Her alarm decided to be possesed and was channeling her mothers cheery spirit. The womans wand was put away and the clock decided to ring once more in her hand.
"It's defective." Robyn muttered disbelivingly before shoving it into her trunk. She would definitely tinker with it later on. For now, She had to get ready. Might as well do something with the time that was stolen from precious sleep. Almost an hour later Robyn descended her stairs and arrived into her kitchen to see her father walking towards the fireplace to leave for work. He quickly turned and kissed her on the forehead. "Have a great year Sweetie. Send letters." He told her before smiling and leaving through the floo powder.
"I made your favourite. Quick croissant. Now we have to hurry. You have a few minutes left." Her mother said as she turned to begin cleaning the kitchen. Robyn rolled her eyes before taking a large healthy bite out of her deliciously filled croissant of Bacon, Sausage, Egg and cheese. There was about half an hour left before the Hogwarts express would leave for Hogwarts. It wasn't as if she ever missed the train anyways. She always managed to board it on time. Today would be one of those days when she was there on time. If her father had taken her, it would be a mad chase for the train with breathless laughter the whole way.
"Goodbye mom." Robyn said warmly as she gave her mom a strong hug as her mother cried on her shoulder. Honestly, Was the tears necissary. She would only be gone for a few months. She didn't see other mothers cryin.... Scratch that. The majority were. "Oh the unstableness of becoming a woman." Robyn muttered as she kissed her mom one last time before she boarded the train. "And now off to find decent civilization." She sighed in relief as she entered the Hogwarts express. The excitement that had been missing so early in the morning now swarmed into her. With a grin on her face she walked on in the train looking for a compartment full of her friends. On her way to the back she noticed Alexandria was sitting in a compartment by herself. Scorpius's little sister. She would deal with him later.
Opening the door she walked in noticing she was reading what seemed like an old Journal. She smiled, that girl was very studious. So she made a job of being quiet as she put up a few things where they belonged before letting Glacier off on the floor to where he could walk and stretch himself. That cat was a bottemless pit. It would be asking for food in about an hour. And then the following hour after that. After looking at Glacier for a moment longer to see his odd behaviour she looked over to Alexandria. "Good Morning." She greeted cheerily before letting herself fall opposite of her.

As Scorpius sat down he noticed a pinkish tinge appear on Lily's cheeks. He was surprised about this but immediately let it go. Although since he had befriended her he had never really seen her blush. But he had to admit, it looked cute on her. No doubt would she be getting extra attention from the boys in her year this year. Just like his sister had, and most likely how his other sister would as well. He let out a low sigh, he knew Alex was shy. But how would she react to that? Setting those thoughts aside he turned to back to Lily from where he had sat down. "Hey Lily." He responded to her greeting as he smiled at her once more.
"You have no idea." Scorpius replied with his smirk still in place. "Everyone here knows I have had a crush on the Headmistress since First year." He said sarcastically as he continued to look at James Potter. The boy was leaning more towards ignorant and stupid than anything. "And here I find you spying on her." Scorpius continued not letting up. It was Potter's own fault he would be subjected to one of Scorpius' bad sides. Though he had been aquainted with those years before. "You have no idea how Jealous and deeply hurt I am." He finished rolling his eyes at James before having to stop himself from laughing. Potter was a piece of work. Over the years he had assumed the boy wasn't that smart.
His father had told him a few things about Harry Potter and most of the rivalry they had. Scorpius would never admit it to his father but came with the conclusion he brought it onto himself. Except for that one time that his father was hesitant to tell him about. About when and how he had been in his sixth year. Scorpius didn't really know Harry Potter but he doubted the man would hold a grudge that long. After all, his father really hadn't. It must only be a teenage thing. He let out a low chuckle shaking his head at James before looking across at his cousin with one eyebrow up questioningly.

Madison chuckled as she took back her pages of songs that she had currently written over the summer when she had been locked up in her room; that had been her former aunt Nelle's room. All over the room had posters of bands, that have had imspired Madison throughout the years, but she kept the painting of a dragon her aunt had painted when she was around her age. Madison looked up to see someone she recongized..Harry Potter's first born child, James; named after his grandfather as he had heard from her father. She didn't care to see James settled in. Surprisingly he wasn't sitting with his brother or circle of friends. She saw that he took out an old piece of paper she didn't recongize until he said the words " I solmely swear I am up to no good." "Oh god Potter, your not still carrying that old paper around?" Madison said as she couldn't believe he still hung onto a piece of paper that was created by both of their grandparents.
"Men I tell ya..always have to take the easy ways out." Madison spoke as her eyes shifted over to the map that showed where everyone was located. Suddenly the door opened up and then there stood Scorpius Malfoy; her cousin. "Well Well Well..Scorpius..My cousin. My haven't you've gotten taller." She spoke with a smirk. She remembered the skinny, blonde hair boy that resembled a lot like his father in the younger years. He did indeed gain a few inches over the summer. Maddie went back to her guitar and then chuckled when she saw Lily blushing like crazy.

After smiling at Scorpious she heard her brother hiss at her. With a look of pure innocence upon her face she said sweetly, "What?! I didn't do anything this time!" Normally when James did this, Lily had done something, but this time around all she had did was say hello to Scorpious and of course blush a little, but that couldn't be it, could it? She shook her head deciding that James was just a tad grumpy this morning for this was the earliest that he woken up all summer.
She then responded to Scorpious' greeting with an air of amusement in her voice, "How was your summer, and how are your sisters?" She was curious to see how Alex was for she was looking forward to getting to know her better, they had always talked in the classes they had together as well as around the school, but they never really gotten to know each other that well. She was hoping to change that this year, maybe help her come out of her shell that she created around herself.
Lily then rolled eyes at James' and Scorpious' antics. The boys were ridiculous, always saying snide comments to each other, and keeping up that old rivalry between the Potters and the Malfoys. She just shook her head. She actually found it quite neat that her brother had kept that old piece of parchment for it was one of the only remaining things of her grandfather, Sirius, and Lupin. She wished desperately she would have gotten a chance to meet all of these people for they played such and influential role in history and in her life. She remembered the countless nights where her father would tell her all about them, and how in a way she was able to live and thrive because of them. One day though she would be able to meet them, but that would be such a long time from now, she thought. She then spoke, "I actually am quite glad he keeps that "old piece of parchment" around for it was created for our use, and for our mischief. Also its one of the only things left from the Marauder Era that we can use. I just wish I could have met the men that made it..." she spoke reflectively.
