Aaralynn was bored. So, she decided to go for a little stroll in the gardens. It was beautiful there, she always loved it. She could get there and most of the time be alone with her thoughts. She kicked at a rock as she walked, enjoying the scenery around her. She was glad to be back at Hogwarts. She had missed her second home. She always felt better at Hogwarts than she did at her house. At Hogwarts she wasn't a "freak". She wasn't as different as she was at home. At home she was that weird girl who disappeared in the middle of class one day while she was crying.
She sighed as she relived some of her memories. She did miss hanging out with some of her muggle friends while she was at Hogwarts; but, she enjoyed being at the castle. She felt at peace there. Aaralynn was so absorbed in her thoughts, that she didn't notice someone else walking through the gardens until she bumped into them. "Oh, my gosh!" she said. "I'm so sorry. I should have watched where I was going."

Robyn stumbled back slightly. She had been thinking about the weird meeting she had with Matthew Abney a few days back. It bothered her exactly because of that. It was a few days ago and she should have completely forgotten about it. But she hadn’t. So she had decided to go for a walk that day and just clear her head. Not only that as well, But because one of her best friends was also in the Hospital Wing for flying a cursed broom. She had shaken her head in amusement and continued walking. Her thoughts being interrupted by even more thoughts. So it was a complete shock when she had bumped into someone. Or someone had bumped into her.
“It’s okay.” Robyn said coming out of her thoughts slowly in a stupor. She stood there for a moment trying to put everything back together and try to find out what had happened. She let out a small giggle at how strange she felt. Shaking her head she looked to see Aaralyn. “As I said. It’s alright. I should have been watching as well.” Robyn smiled at her. It seemed the two had been out for the same reason. Just that they bumped into each other was a bit amusing to her. “Are you alright though?” Robyn asked pushing all her other thoughts aside.

"I'm fine," replied Aaralyn, realizing that the person she had run into was Robyn. She smiled at the Gryffindor and asked, "How about you? Any bruises?" She still felt kind of bad that she had run into the other girl. "What brings you to the gardens?" She knew she went to the gardens to think a lot, well the gardens and the astronomy tower.

“No. No bruises.” Robyn assured her with an amused chuckle. It took a lot to nock her down and bruise her up a bit. Which is why she enjoyed the game of quidditch so much. It roughed her up a bit, and kept her safely on the ground. “And I was just trying to clear my head.” Robyn said deciding to go with the truth. She normally went with the truth anyways. “I could ask you the same question.” She grinned at her as the both stood in the gardens.

"Well, I came out here because I was bored," replied Aaralyn, "and then I started thinking about things. Getting lost in my thoughts where I might run into people isn't a good thing." She laughed then. "I was thinking about how I feel at home here...at peace. I'm not...'weird' here."

“No. Not weird. Of course not.” Robyn said shaking her head making the whole thing dramatic, Making it seem she didn’t believe Aaralyn was normal. But she was only poking a bit of fun. Smiling at her, Robyn opened her mouth to speak. “Nobody here would think you’re weird.” Robyn assured her. “Why would you feel weird somewhere else?” Robyn asked curiously. She grew up in the Wizarding World so she hardly knew anything about Muggle things. Much less did she take Muggle studies. It just didn’t catch her attention. “As for you bumping into people. They should also be attentive.” She smiled at her, it took two people to bump into each other. The other could easily veer out of the way.

Why would you feel weird somewhere else? "Well," said Aaralyn, "I grew up as a muggle. Sometimes weird things would happen, like I'd disappear and end up in a different room, or something would break. You know, accidental magic. Only I didn't know it at the time. Everyone except my closest friends thought I was a freak. So I always felt weird, like an outsider there. I still do when I go home. To this day I'm the weird little girl who was crying in her primary school class, and suddenly disappeared."

“Oh.” Robyn said quietly. Growing up as a Muggle must have definitely brought on a whole other level of awkwardness and sense of not really fitting in. To be a muggleborn must definitely be harder… of course it was. Whenever she or Cameron did accidental Magic there was more pride in them than fear or any negative feelings. “I’m sorry.” Robyn told her compassionately. “Well at least you spend the majority of the year here at Hogwarts.” Robyn said with a smile. They stayed a much longer time at the Castle than in their own homes once schooling began at the age of 11. “So at least you don’t have to spend too much time with them while they remember. We’ll be out of Hogwarts in no time as well, Just one more year… then you wont have to be known as the weird one.” She smiled lightly.

Aaralyn smiled back. "Yeah, I can't wait to graduate. I plan on staying in the wizarding world for as long as I can," she said. "I love magic." She couldn't help but laugh at how dorky that sounded. "It'll be great to have graduated and be seen as an adult. No desicions being made for you..."

Robyn easily pictured what Aaralyn was saying. It was a very seductive future and she could almost not wait for its moment to finally arrive. “I know what you mean.” She said in a happy sigh. Still picturing the possible future of being a professional and calling her own shots. “I can’t wait either.” She said honestly, her smile still in place. “What are you planning to do out of Hogwarts?” Robyn asked curiously. Realizing she never really put much thought into it. It had been the previous year when she was finally forced to think about it. At the moment her studies were leading her towards either a Ministry or Mungos career.

"I'd love to become a DADA professor. Especially here at Hogwarts," answered Aaralyn, grinning at the thought. It had been something she always wanted to do. "What about you?" she asked, realizing she'd never asked in all the time she'd known Robyn.
